Kyon Neal '17 Recruiting Profile

My goals are to get a degree in Pro Golf Management and a minor in Business.  I would also like to play golf at the collegiate level.  I have a very strong work ethic and have been able to demonstrate that by placing at every high school varsity golf tournament my sophomore year and all but one my freshman year. I have won the MNAC conference tournament and won the Nebraska Class D State Championship my sophomore year.  As the only golfer in my school and not having a golf course in my county, I had to travel 100 miles round trip to practice every night after school.  I was selected to be on the Nebraska Super State golf team, was voted the North Platte Telegraph golfer of the year, and the NBC Nebraska News 2 Boys Golfer of the Year.  I was also Academic All-State in golf both my freshman and sophomore years, and Academic All-State in basketball my sophomore year. I play quarterback for my football team and I currently am the leading passer in six-man football in the state according to MaxPreps.  I was the leading scorer of my basketball team my sophomore year and was named as one of the two team captains.  I am an honor roll student, was inducted into the National Honor Society as a sophomore, and am currently the Treasurer of Student Council and President of my Class, I am a member of my high school's FFA chapter and am currently the Treasurer, I am an FBLA member, I have been involved in 4-H for 12 years, and belong to the Tryon United Methodist Church.  I have also worked for my parents at their gas station and auto mechanics shop for 2 years, and last summer I worked as a caddie at the world renown Sand Hill Golf Company.
