At the early age of 3 years old, my dad introduced me to the game of golf with my first set of Fisher-Price clubs which I used to hit the little plastic ball around the backyard (NEVER in the house – Mom’s rule). As I grew older, my dad would take me to our local course to practice my driving, chipping and putting. As I worked to perfect my golf technique, my love for this sport continued to grow and I knew I wanted to play this game forever. My dream is to play college golf and have a future career as a PGA Tour Player.
I enjoy playing a friendly game of golf but playing competitively is where I excel. To do my best in golf competitions, I dedicate much of my time to practice daily. I also strength train to increase my fitness level and perform at my best. I began participating in the summer Metropolitan PGA Jr Tour New York Section starting in 2018 at the age of 9, playing in their 9-hole competitions and moving to the 18-hole competitions once I met the age requirement. I have played in the US Kids Spring Hartford CT Tour and the Hudson Valley, NY Tour since 2020. Additionally, over the last several years, I have competed in many international tournaments in Ireland. The last two years (8th and 9th grade), I played on the Yorktown High School golf team and both years I qualified to play in the 2023 NYSPHSAA and 2024 NYSPHSAA Boys Golf Championship to represent my section. Both years were an amazing experience and in 2024 my section won first place!
Golf is my passion but not my only interest. I know that my education is very important, so I make sure to maintain High Honors in school. It is also important to me to give back to my community. For the past two years, I have had the privledge to volunteer as an assistant coach with the Golf Special Olympics in my area. As I really enjoy being outdoors and athletic, I participate in many other sports such as basketball, hiking and swimming.
