2023 HighlightsPersonal Statement
Ever since I first picked up a club in 2018 at my local club's kid's camp I have fallen in love with the game of golf. For the last 4 years, I have worked my way from being a kid who could barely break 50 in nine holes to now where I have got many top 3 finishes and 1 win but Im striving for more in the upcoming months. I feel my hard work ethic and attitude are my 2 best attributes having a solid mental game allows me always to keep pushing to fight through a tough round and scrounge my way to high 70 scores on my worst days now. My work ethic will have me on range or spending time at the putting green for hours on end to better myself but my work ethic goes just as well to my academics making the A/B honor roll in honors classes and dual enrollment college classes. This is the drive I have in life, school and golf. This is why I feel I could be a good fit for any College team.

- Won tournament by 6 and played well all day! Had way to much spin on approach shot to 18 and spun it off the green and down the hill to my feet resulting in a bogey. Also got to aggressive on a par 3 pin and put 1 in the water. Over all good ball striking.

- Ryder Cup Style Event: I was on the North team and we came up just a little short. Overall I played well winning 2 of our 4 points. 1 in 4 ball with my partner Addison Depace winning 3&2 and the other in my singles match winning 3&1. In 4 ball I was +2 when the match ended and singles I was +1 when it ended. I was proud of that with the 38-50 temps winds 15-25 with gust to 40. Looking forward to Lincolnton Nov 4th.

- Finished up in 3rd place shooting a 75. Had a bad 3 hole stretch (8, 9 & 10) went +5 on. Missed a slippery 3' down hill putt for birdie and ended up with a bogey. Then a bad swing with a driver put me in the woods ending up a double. Hole 11 hit a decent drive then hit a limb with my 3 wood and ended up with bogey. Over all hit the ball well!

- Had a decent tournament this week. Had a shaky back 9 with my driver/3 wood and was erratic costing me 5-7 strokes. (Was getting to quick) Got that figured out that afternoon and had a solid day 2. Ended up going 79/74 (hole 13 was a nemesis both days!)

- 4 day event....First 2 days are played at UGA Course last 2 days at The Georgia Club playing 7050-7180 yards. This was a tough 4 days! Overall just didn't hit the ball very well and had a couple holes each day that killed my score....no excuses other than poor ball striking that lead to some risky shots that cost me big! Valuable lessons were learned this weekend!

- Had a great day just a few shots were off the mark! Ended up T-3rd after leading with 2 to go. Caught a bad lie after missing the green on a par 3 leading to a bogey. Then miss hit my T shot leading to a finishing hole double bogey. Ended up shooting a 76 2 shots off the lead.

- Great camp and learned a lot! I would recommend this camp to any serious golfer. 7am-7pm your hitting ball, playing or eating! Their video helped me figure out what was wrong on my tee shots! Just got my new shaft....the other one was not strong enough for the swing speed.

- Played horrible on Saturday, never could find the fairway with a tee shot. Ended up with the worst score in almost 2 years...90. Figured out what was wrong and played the front 9 at +2 until play was suspended because of a storm.

- Rain shorten event. Ended up 1st with a 75. Started the back 9 with 2 balls in the drink leading to a 9 on the par 5. Then went par-birdie-birdie-birdie and missed a 4' putt for another birdie. Looking at your name at the top of the leader board on #18 will make you nervous as all get out!!
