Personal Statement
Winning the SAC Championship my 8th grade year is one of my proudest moments. Something I had to overcome was having a bad year in ninth grade. That taught me to focus more on my game and practice precisely to become a better golfer. When I was younger my mother tragically passed away in a car accident. Although this was no sports related event, this was also an obstacle in my life that has shaped me to become a stronger, smarter young man.
I plan to academically excel in school and continue to be in Beta club, while joining the National Honors Society in eleventh grade. I wish to advance my academics in college and believe that my strong work-ethic, determination, and patience can best help me to achieve these goals. I believe I have the skills to compete at a collegiate level and will do so wherever fits best.
