Golf has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. I have a love for the game; it drives me to challenge myself to continuously improve as a student athlete and as a person. I know that it takes consistent effort and hard work to achieve goals that I have set for myself. By setting goals, I have earned the honor of team captain of my high school varsity team since my freshman year. As the leader, I encourage and always strive to bring out the best in others.
I have been playing tournament golf for the past five years, which has earned me many achievements and accolades. I feel I have an advantage over my peers, because of my leadership skills and determination. I am currently a Life scout in Boy Scouts and will be working towards my Eagle. Scouts has taught me many life and leadership skills that I apply to my golf game. I keep an open mind and coaching me is not a challenge. I take into consideration the suggestions that people make, to improve myself as a golfer.
I am interested in pursuing a career in business that will not only benefit me personally, but in the golf industry. Coaches should consider me, because I am a great teammate and I always provide a smiling face to the team. I look forward to communicating with coaches and learning about what their programs can provide for my college golf career.
