2023 HighlightsPersonal Statement
My name is Jude Ringen and I am a distinguished honors student (top 5% of my class) at Holy Ghost Preparatory School located just outside of Philadelphia, PA. I have been playing golf with my dad since I was about four, but the game didn't really click for me until I started seeing it from a scientific point of view. My love of golf extends beyond the game. I volunteer weekly at our local chapter of The First Tee and I also work at our local public golf course to earn free rounds of golf. I am currently working with my engineering teacher to build a prototype of a golf putter I hope to patent one day. I am looking for a college with a golf program and a coach that will push me to continually improve my golf game. When I hit a bad stroke, I want a coach that will help me understand what went wrong so I can fix it. I am the kind of golfer and the kind of person that never gives up. Academically, my preference is to go to a school with a nationally recognized program in either business, engineering, science or math.
