Robert Munley '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Robert Munley, and I'm a golfer.  When I arrive on the golf course I feel like I can separate myself.  There really isn’t a shot I’m afraid to hit.  I can draw and fade the ball off the tee.  I prefer to draw the ball with my irons but I can also fade it from the fairway.  Since I have a strong short game, I am able to remain aggressive with my approach shots.  I feel like i am improving everyday and every swing. 

I’m a fun person to be around. I enjoy spending time with my family.  My immediate family consists of my parents and an older brother and sister.  I place a great deal of importance on academics.  I have made it a goal to be on the honor roll every quarter in high school. I am not afraid to ask for help in class when I need it.  I also enjoy spending time with my friends. I have had the same close group of friends since first grade.  Over time the group has grown but the core members have remained.  I have leadership qualities and am not afraid to voice my opinions  on issues I care about.  I am a loyal person. 

My goal is to play golf at the collegiate level.  I like to challenge myself.  I really enjoy competing in all aspects of the game.  If I am fortunate enough to play golf in college, I will work very hard to become the best golfer I can be. While maintaining a very high GPA.
