October 2022Personal Statement
My goal is to go to college, obtain a top-notch education and hopefully be able to continue my golfing career. I currently have the second-best GPA in my graduating class, which I feel shows my commitment to academics. I have been golfing since the age of 5, while primarily being taught the game by my dad. I know I have the necessary fundamental skills (swing speed, control, short game, touch, etc.) that can be further refined to be able to compete at the college level. I also feel I have the mental part of the game to be able to compete in tough situations as I demonstrated my sophomore year when I won the league MVP with a birdie on the second hole of a sudden death playoff.
