Personal Statement

I am Ryan Marsden, I am in the 2025 graduate class and I play on the varsity golf team for St James High School in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. I am a very dedicated golfer and I am working to reach my goal, which is to play college golf at the highest possible level. My longtime goal is to make it onto the PGA Tour. I am also very dedicated in the classroom. I always make sure my schoolwork is done before I go to practice or play. I am a hard worker on the golf course and in the classroom. I have the desire to keep working hard and to get better everyday. I have the desire to learn everyday on and off the golf course. I have always had a competitive spirit ever since I started playing sports, weather its playing with my dad and friends or in a tournament, I always show up to win.

Day 3: 80 (+8) (Kings North) Played good on the hardest golf course out of the 3. Had a rough front nine shooting 43 but came back well shooting 37 on the back. Overall: 19th out of 24 (Boys 14-15) and 59th out of 74 (Boys 14-18, Overall Championship)
