2023 Highlights Personal Statement
- I fell in love with golf end of 8th grade year. I am a very driven person and I always want to be the best version of my self. I have some great goals, to play competitive golf at the collegiate level and to be a business major and have my own business. I have high standers for my self, personally and academically. Golf has taught me that a sport is not all phisical but it can be almost 90% mental, it has shown me to control my emotions even when I hit a bad shot i used to maybe get a little frustrated but know I say, "lets hit a great shot, next shot". I have always played basketball and one thing my coaches would say is I'm a great leader and I always want the best for my team and not just my self. I have a spirit of competitiveness but at the same time being under control. I have been a christian my whole life so my character will always be different from other recruits and that is because god and his word has always helped me to encourage and love others even when its the hard to do so and that is why I would be a great candidate for any college golf team.
