2023 SpotlightPersonal Statement
My goal is to further my golf game along with my education at the collegiate level. I am hardworking and respectful and I will go where I feel led. I am a strong-willed Christian, and I try to love people as much as possible. I work hard in the classroom keeping myself to all A's and B's, trying not to miss any work, even if it is for a tournament. On the course, I am locked in as a player and as a teammate, trying to make the atmosphere enjoyable for everyone around me. Me and my team took home second place at the 4A state tournament my freshman year we are looking at the first place trophy this year.

- I played pretty decent, and scored an 76,77 and finished in 18th place overall. I hit 72.5% of greens total during the week, my putting lacked a bit however.

- I shot 79-84 on a 7,000 yard course with upwards of 12 miles an hour of wind and tough greens. My play gave me all region honors for the second year in a row and 9th place as an individual.

- I shot 76-77 and tied for lowest individual score with 2 others. I had to birdie my 18th hole (hole 8 as I started on 9) in order to get into the playoff. It was a par 3 and I stuck it to within 4 feet of the hole and converted the putt for birdie. I won the playoff on the first hole by making about an 8 footer for par on the 18th hole with everybody looking on and cheering.
