To start out every year I set goals that are achievable and far out there to push me harder and out of my comfort zone. For high school had a goal to shoot under par, I knew it was achievable but I wanted to do it under pressure. I achieved this goal the round of my junior high school year. i still have plenty of golf out there I'm still doing my best to achieve like shooting in the 60s under pressure, getting a top 3 finish, and of course winning a tournament.
since around 8th grade I started playing golf competitively, I figured I was good enough to play at a higher level and when I got to high school I had my spot on varsity. I got myself up to the number one stick at my high school over one senior and a few sophomores. being up there playing the best of the best in every tournament I enjoy the pressure of having to play good to compete with the guys you're playing with. Where I'm from the wind blows every day, and I'm used to 20-30mph winds so when I'm somewhere else when the wind blows I know how to play in it. I've also played plenty of times in higher and lower elevations so I know how the ball can fly different in those circumstances as well. I would be a good candidate for a college team because I'm competitive, dedicated to the sport that comes with early and late practicing. I enjoy helping others that are struggling and teaching them new things that help me the most.
For me to be different then other recruits id like to say my character on the golf course is the same on and off the course. I don't show emotion after a good shot and I find the best option to do the best with whatever I'm doing. I have found out that golf is a lot like life, if you have a bad attitude off the golf course your going to have the same attitude on the course and nobody will want to play with you. Academically I am a straight A student and I have been ever since 8th grade I believe. I like doing well in school so I have something to go back when I'm older and I can see that I tried hard in school, grades in school can also tell people a lot about how much you are willing to work. if you end up tying that to golf you can be a hard worker in the class room and on the golf course and I believe I am!
Thank you for taking time out of your day to read all about me!
