Travis Hebert '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Travis Hebert and I am a senior at Flower Mound High School in Dallas, Texas. I’m a right-handed golfer on the Varsity Golf Team. I have been on the golf team since the 9th grade of high school. I have improved my tournament scoring average by over 14 shots since 9th grade. My unweighted GPA is 3.82 and I plan to major in business administration. I have played golf since I was 7 years old and I plan to play at the collegiate level. I received academic excellence and honors excellent standing awards in 9th and 10th grade. I have been a National Honor Society member since 11th grade.  

I am most proud of how rapidly I have improved my golf game. In the last year, I have dropped my tournament scoring average from the low 80s to the low-mid 70s roughly 8 strokes. My lowest round has been a 65 (-7) during a Texas Junior Golf Tour tournament this summer. I received the Varsity Golf Newcomer of the Year award on my high school team during my junior year and was runner-up in the Most Improved Player category. During the off-season, I have been working to improve on my short-game skills. I am working daily to improve my score and stay focused. I have the perseverance, accountability, and skills necessary to help the team progress at any level if given the opportunity.
