Brooks Burgess '24 Recruiting Profile

Hey I’m Brooks Burgess and my goal is to play collegiate golf. I have been a three sport athlete my whole life, but recently I have decided that golf is what I love and what I’m willing to work at to take to the next level. I started playing competitive golf my freshman year (about three years ago). In these last three years I have seen improvements in just my high school scoring averages of about 7 strokes between every year. I’m going to be working hard this offseason to make the same improvement in the coming year. I think that my work ethic and competitiveness is what sets me apart from most golfers but also I have some length which brings me some advantages. I understand that family and schooling comes before athletics and I’ve worked hard to keep that in balance so that I can have the privilege of playing golf.
