John Tyler Sayers '23 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals are to graduate with honors with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management.  I may consider obtaining a Master's Degree and work in Investment Banking.  

What makes me a good candidate for their golf team is my love and dedication of the game of golf.  I have loved the sport since I was a toddler when I had my first set of plastic clubs.  I practice every day possible and strive to improve my game of golf every day.  

I am loyal to my school and my team.  I work well indiviudally and as a team member.  I was the golf captain of my high school golf team for 4 years.  My senior year I helped lead our team to the State golf tournament.  I play golf all year long.  My character comes from hard work on my grandparents' farm.  I attend church regularly and I help my elderly grandparents with chores and with things they can no longer do.  I work hard academically and find my true love of learning resides with US History.  I have a fondness of politics and current events.  I enjoy the outdoors including hunting, fishing, riding 4-wheelers and operating farm equipment.  My interests are varied but my true passion is golf.  I take pride in my academic and golf achievements.  My academic and golf successes will aid me for a lifetime.
