Personal Statement
My dream is to become an officer in the US Air Force. I am doing everything I can to earn an appointment to the Air Force Academy. If accepted, I will try my best to earn a spot on the USAFA golf team. I understand that only a small number are accepted to the academies, so I will also pursue an ROTC commission at the University of Wyoming. Either way, I will continue to play golf and strive to compete at the college level. I know I'm not a naturally talented golfer. My strength is my determination and work ethic. I've been called a "grinder," because I continue trying when things get difficult. I hope this characteristic will help me succeed in the pursuit of my academic, military, and athletic goals.
