Jay Sakagami '25 Recruiting Profile

I am in my Junior year of high school and have competitively golfed for around 5 years. Some of my future aspirations are to play college golf and eventually play on Tour. Although my current scoring averages do not exactly reflect it, I have the work ethic, desire, confidence, and competitiveness to be a top-level golfer. I believe I am a late-bloomer and although I may sound like I am bluffing, I know that I am putting in the time and effort to reach elite levels of golf. I enjoy what I do, I put in many hours of practice everyday throughout the year, and I have the willingness to repetitively fail and try again until I am successful. 

I am a great student, I understand that there is always room for improvement, and have the capability to play college golf at a high level.
