Cole Langeness '24 Recruiting Profile

Athletics and competing have always been a big part of who I am.  My first loves were baseball, basketball, and football - all of which I played through my 8th grade year.  Golf really became my passion though once I found competitive golf in high school.

Going all in with my golf game has allowed me to significantly grow and improve each year.  Shooting a 65 to win a recent Minnesota JR PGA tournament this summer has been the highlight of my golf career so far.  The most impactful event on my growth, though, was when my team did not qualify for sectionals during my junior season.  I know that experience has fueled my drive to be an even better teammate and leader as we work to achieve our goals of winning the Big Rivers Conference and advancing to the Wisconsin state tournament and competing for the title.

I look forward to finding a college or university where I can continue to excel both in the classroom and on the golf course.  I am confident that I have not only the talent to contribute to the success of a collegiate golf team, but the character and work ethic to positively impact my teammates and my coaches.
