Ryan Stepanick '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Ryan Stepanick, and I’m 18 years old. I was born July 26, 2005 at the hospital in Lloydminster. I grew up in a small town in Vermilion Alberta which is 2 hours east of Edmonton. I started hockey at age 5 and goalie at the end of my first atom year. I have loved goalie ever since I made that decision! I am a very dedicated and hard working kid. I am a very technical and fast skater in the net, and my puck playing ability is improving every time I’m on the ice! I can read plays very well and what is going to generate from each play. If a coach gives me feedback I’m always willing to take it and build from it, and I'm always looking to improve where I can! I wanna attend university and gain an undergraduate degree in kinesiology, while continuing my hockey journey. I am thankful for the ongoing support from my Mom, Dad and my Sister who helped me since day one and I wouldn’t be where I am without them. I am a very generous and kind kid who is extremely coachable!
