I’ve benefitted from having grown up on a family farm with two older siblings. Belonging, to a small community I have made many close connections. I’ve played hockey for as long as I can remember. Always, having a great passion for the sport and lifestyle. I’ve learnt how competitive and hardworking one must be. In my failure to earn a spot on the bantam AAA team I discovered what is required to achieve my goals. Such as, how a large part of development and progress is up to myself. I put in the extra effort and was able to play minor midget AAA the next season.
I have studied in a bilingual school and maintained above an 85% average with hopes to access high-quality universities. My attributes are having strong interpersonal skills, being self-motivated and independent. I have good team leadership skills and most often wear a letter for my team.
