Personal Statement

I am mentally strong, and I am not fazed by pressure. I do not quit, and I do not complain. I strive to deliver my best performance regardless of the game outcome. I set a good example for my teammates by always playing to the final buzzer.  As team captain, I work with my teammates to improve our play by helping them understand our playbook and improve our skills outside of regular practice time.

I am fortunate that I get to play multiple sports. That has developed good body awareness and hand-eye coordination. For example, my figure skating allows me to be dynamic with my footwork when I am driving to the net.

As a multi-sport athlete, I have won 100 meter (12.97 seconds, 90 meter hurdles and high jump at the divisional  track meet 5 years in a row qualifying me for the zone and provincial track meets. I am a 5 event rodeo competitor 2022 National High School Rodeo Qualifier, 2 Canadian High School Qualifier, 2022 Albert High School Reserve Champion Barrel Racer and 6 time Provincial Qualifier In swimming, I am a provincial qualifier and I medaled in 3 events.

My academic standing is as important to me as my athletic achievements. My end goal in college is to ensure that I have a quality education with a degree from a reputable institution. My dad says that I can get a good education at many schools, but it is important for me to find a school that I can enjoy the experience.

I love the game of basketball and have been playing since I was 10 years old, I want to continue to play in college because I cannot imagine life without it. My goal is to become part of a program that allows me to grow as a player and a leader.

I am fortunate that I have a family who supports and believes in my dreams and goals.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
