I have a goal to play D1 college hockey. I’ll play any position asked by my coaches, whatever is best for the team but I am most comfortable as a forward. I work hard on and off the ice and at school.
I know we all have a different path to reach our goals so I am open to different options. My parents work hard to support me and I want to earn a scholarship to help them, especially since my dad is disabled from cancer for four years now.
Playing in the Chowder Cup and Junior Chowder Cup and other showcases has been a great experience and has made me realize how much harder I have to dedicate myself to play at the next level and excel. It was a great experience playing my first year of juniors with the Florida Eels, it was so much better than travel hockey. Making it to and playing the nationals really fueled my fire to be even better next year and come back as a team leader, especially since this is basically my 4th year since I was a practice player.
I am so happy to have such a supportive hockey family that encourages me to keep pushing through no matter what the obstacle may be. I always keep fighting through adversity and never give up, my dad inspires me.
