Personal Statement
I started playing hockey at 5 years old. At 7 years old I started goaltending. I made varsity high school hockey as a freshman. I have goals and aspirations to go to the NHL and Division 1 College. My goal is to go to the juniors as early as possible. From there go to Division 1 College and get drafted into the NHL.
So how am I different? I go the extra mile to work out and continue training no matter what. I stay focused on my future to one day be a professional hockey player.
Being in a southern state like Florida makes it more difficult to get recruited. Failure is not an option for me. My life and my mom's life have been dedicated to hockey financially, emotionally, and physically to make sure I succeed. My world is hockey, my life is hockey, my dreams, and my goals are all surrounded by hockey. I want to one day help mothers like my mother, help kids like me to know hard work pays off, and to follow your dreams.
