Personal Statement
Over the course of my ten years playing the game, I've been working my hardest to achieve my goals and to become the greatest version of myself both as a goalie, and as a student. Since December 3rd of 2017, I have had two hip surgeries to repair a torn labrum and femoroacetabular impingement in both of my hips, resulting in a loss of playing time. However, through all of my trials and tribulations, I have seen myself not only returning to the shape that I once was, but becoming even better than the last time I stepped on the ice to play a game. Throughout all of this, I have gone through many hardships, only to stand up in the face of adversity and grind through any challenges that may come my way. This has helped my grow not only in my character, but also as an athlete and a scholar. I believe that my my dedication, work ethic, and my motivation to get better every time I step on the ice or stepping underneath a barbell are the reasons that I am the perfect fit for any team that needs a goalie to control the crease when it matters most.
