Dear Coaches,
As I get older I am pushing myself on playing college hockey. I have always wanted to play college hockey as soon as a I went to my first college game . I realized how skilled all the players were and how one day I could be just like them. Right now I play for The Boston Junior Bruins and Nashoba High SchooI Varsity. I started playing hockey around the age of 7. Before moving to ice hockey I spent 1 year playing dek hockey at my local rink. This had began it all seeing that soon after that season I started play for the Twin City Hawks Fitchburg Town Team. I spent almost 3 full years on that team until I was ask by a coach to join the 04 New England Stars Elite Team. This team had showed me that I could keep up with kids a year older than me and in higher leagues. It led to me gain more confidence in my skills. As hockey became more demanding in commitment as I became older I had lost some of the things that I would do for fun such as snowboarding or having freetime on weekends to hangout with friends and family. Once I moved onto another team, the Minute Man Flames AAA 1 team, my schedule loosened up much more in terms of games on weekends or practices. I used this as an advantage and I have had time to do the things I like. In terms of academic acomplishments I make the honor roll every quarter and semester, sometimes I make high honors. I plan to take almost all AP classes my senior year at Nashoba Regional High School. In school I try to make the best of my education and the best my high school years. A good athlete has a good acedemic life and a social one. On the ice I try to be the supportive and funny teamate even when we are losing. I never hang my head because it shows you didn't try your best in that game. My goal as a hockey player as I hone in my skills, is to always give my 100% and more and to never lose my love and passion for the game of hockey. As I start to move along my growing hockey career I strive to be the best player and teamate on the ice. I am looking forward to this new season on my new team. The Boston Junior Bruins offers new opportunities that could better my future. I am now playing for The Junior Bruins Elites team as a 05. The Boston Junior Bruins is a USPHL team and it offers a lot more experience and competition that I can learn and improve from.
