It would be incredible to continue pursuing my swimming goals in college. The empowerment and confidence I feel as a swimmer carry over into every part of my life. Swimming has become a passion for me, not just a sport. As an athlete, I am defined by my dedication, my value as a teammate, and my coachability.  A big part of my athletic commitment is consistent physical effort. I am one of the hardest workers in the pool. As a teammate, I view my peers as close friends and even family members. Teammates are in it together, working toward common goals, and supporting each other throughout the process. Finally, I will actively seek out coaching input to help me progress individually and as a member of the team. Having an open mind is essential to growth and development as an athlete. I am excited about the next steps in my athletic career.
