Personal Statement
Dear Coaches,
I have always aspired to continue playing sports throughout my life including high school and especially playing at a college level of athletics. I would be a good candidate for your team because I am a good all-around athlete and student. I am a confident player and person who will always keep going no matter what happens to me or my team. I would never give up on a sport or in life even if it comes down to something that is really difficult. For example, if I was in a game and we were losing by 5, or if I was trying to study and it wasn't going well. I would try my best to persevere through those obstacles until I feel that I have completed my responsibility as a player or student. My play style for hockey is a skater who loves to make plays on the ice and help the team toward victory. I can play on the defensive side and on the offensive side of the ice and I am the type of athlete that likes to get assists and set things up rather than only being a goal scorer. I am a team player who will put the team before myself in most if not all situations. To finish, my grades are excelling almost as much as my athletic ability, which is another reason why I am a good candidate for any coach who is in need of a good player inside and outside of the rink.
