Benjamin Tsin '23 Recruiting Profile

The most important thing for you to know at this point in time is my name, Benjamin Tsin. I am a speedy Right Wing for the accomplished Paramus Catholic High School Hockey Team in New Jersey.

Hockey is a sport and a lifestyle that has molded my character into what it is today. The development of holistic passion, determination, persistence, and confidence is what I owe to starting hockey almost a decade ago. With that being said, it is something I take very seriously. I intend to pursue a future in the sport, which is why I am reaching out to you so early in my high school career.

I am currently a senior, and have the next year to prove myself on a state and national platform in this sport. Already, I have made marginal strides in doing so. Over the last year, I was an assistant captain for the U15 New Jersey Falcons Club Team—we finished the season ranked #2 in the state. I netted 11 goals and 13 assists over 22 games in this past season. Last year i played for the New Jersey Avalanche, for which we won states, finishing number 1 in the state. I have just signed for a juniors team called the New Jersey Renegades. 

I can say that my unwavering ambition, devotion, and commitment to the sport is what separates me from other juniors. During a time in life when most of my fellow pupils my age struggle with maturity and consistency, I live with the thought of my future success in mind. Behind everything I do, I seek to thrive. Over the next year, I will demonstrate superiority both on and off the ice. My future lies in my own hands, and I know that it will involve playing hockey at the next level.
