Since the age of four, my goal has been to play hockey at the NCAA D1 level and to be part of a team that values hard work and high-level competition. I’ve been a hockey player for over 11 years and worked my way up from playing in a house league team to a 15u AAA team. I believe hard work and unselfish play is key to my game and my success thus far. This year I lead both my club and high school hockey teams in points. My coaches and my peers view me as the most hardworking and skilled player on the ice. In both athletic and academic environments I always try to take on the role of a leader and someone who leads by example. As a student in an IVY league preparatory school, my education is also a priority and I've worked hard to achieve a 3.66 GPA. In addition, the values I’ve learned throughout my academic career (ie community, service, integrity), continue to shape my character, both on and off the ice. I am excited about future opportunities where I can continue to grow as both a hockey player and a person.
