From a young age, I have always been highly goal-driven, allowing myself to excel in many aspects of life, both on and off the ice. No matter the challenge that has appeared in my path, I have persevered and persisted, which is why I am where I am now. The major characteristic that separates me from other candidates is that I don't accept failure and will do everything in my power to ensure it doesn't occur, mainly because winning is exhilarating.
I have been playing high-level hockey for many years now. I have been able to survive and thrive because of my high hockey IQ and elite-level skills, most notably my skating. Every coach I have had has made it apparent to me that these are my strengths. My aspirations for the future are to play even more competitive hockey at the collegiate level, so I can continue to prove to myself and others that I have what it takes to succeed, and get a superb education at the same time.
