Jacob Dufresne - ...Personal Statement
My name is Jacob Dufresne and I am a 2007 Goaltender from Commack NY. I will graduate from Commack High School in 2025.
I have been playing AAA Hockey as a Goalie since the Mite Level. For season 2023-2024 I will play for Westchester Express 16U AAA under coach Eric Conway.
I enjoy seeing the ice from a different perspective than the skaters. My strengths are my vision, my technical positioning, my ability to maintain my cool and my work ethic. I have a strong hockey IQ and that has helped me be a leader on my team and I hope to help my teammates have their best game also. I am coachable and enjoy learning everything I can about hockey and specifically the Goaltender position.
I have a passion for Hockey and will pursue playing Junior Hockey and eventually play for a college while earning a degree. I am still deciding what I will major in, but I am considering Sports Psychology.
