Nicholas Leelum '15 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Nicholas Leelum and I am from Masapequa Park, New York .I currently play as a defenseman on the Long Island Edge AAA/AA. Last season, I played with the Junior B Empire's New York Applecore. I joined the team midway through the season. I am an extremely hard worker, as shown by how I played on the 4th line at the beginning of my time with Applecore and moved up to 2nd line and powerplay by the start of playoffs. Any team that I have played on I dedicate myself to trying to be the best player on that team, while also pushing my teammates to be better also. If I am not the best player on the ice, I always seek out the best player and make sure I am at least working harder than him. My goals for this year is to help push myself and my team into winning the Long Island Championship and the NY State Championships. My long term goals, being a senior in high school, is to find a good college that has my major (Criminal Justice) and a competitive hockey team.
