Hockey is a necessity in my life. I cannot imagine being the person I am today without the influence of hockey. I have been a part of a hockey team since I was 5. Michael Jordan, one of the greatest athletes to ever play a sport, once said "Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence wins championships." During hockey season, my team transforms into my family, and my devotion to the team can be seen in every practice and game. My coaches describe me as a leader, a player that stands out and leads by example on the ice. My amazing sense of the ice is what helps me make great plays and set up fantastic goals. What makes me unique from other hockey players is my dedication to the sport. I work out and participate in off ice training 6 out of 7 days a week . As I am preparing for college, I look forward to becoming part of another family at a high level that will fulfill my unique set of skills, hard work and talent.
