Thomas Paquet '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Thomas Paquet and I would like to pursue a university education while playing hockey, my favorite sport. This goal is close to my heart because it would allow me to combine my passion for studies and sports. As a goaltender, I am fast and athletic and my technique is excellent. I have been training with a position coach for 5 years and play with the Quebec elite during the summer.  I am a motivated student-athlete who loves pressure. The bigger the challenge, the better I perform. As a student, I am responsible and do all the work required. My results are well above average. On the other hand, I have to make extra efforts in English in order to realize my dream and study in the United States. As a person, I am honest and have excellent values. I like to spend time with my friends and have fun. I come from a family that values school very highly. Both my parents are teachers and my father has a Ph.D. in psychology. That's why I turned to school hockey. For me, academic performance and development as a person are just as important as hockey. My greatest desire is to reach the highest level both academically and in hockey.
