Alex Dupuis '21 Recruiting Profile

Dear Coaches,

My goals and aspirations for the future, after high school, are to get an solid college education and to play hockey at the collegiate level.  I have wanted these two things from the very beginning of my hockey career.  I am currently in my second year in Junior Hockey, playing for the Richmond Generals Premier team, and am very much looking forward to the next phase of my life in terms of academics and athletics. 

What makes me a solid choice for consideration is that I will stand out because I am a total team player.  I always put the team before myself and will do anything asked of me to help my team succeed on the ice.  I lead by example, not by things I say, but by things I do, on and off the ice.  I also am a proven student in the classroom with a 3.5 GPA and I just received honors in my last semester where I secured a 3.6 GPA.   

My work ethic is very strong in regards to my physical conditioning, the classroom & my studies, working on and off the ice, developing my skill set, as well as participating in other sports such as golf, etc.  I am very coachable, without ego, willing to learn, and I understand what it means to be part of a successful team, on and off the ice.  I am willing to do the little things that might not show up on a score sheet, but will ultimately help my team to win. I fully understand that the lessons I have learned so far will help mold me to be a better student, player, and eventually help me be successful in life, no matter what career path I eventually choose.
