Someday in the future, I would like to play college hockey and then proceed to higher levels such as the NHL. I started skating at nine years old, but started playing hockey at 5. My first season I was placed on the lowest team(team 5) at my local hockey club. The next year I made the the top AA team, and since then I have made it my goal to be the best, and to be the hardest working hockey player around. At this point in time I am competing in tier 1 AAA. My weekly physical conditioning regimen and workout during the school year is 3-4 days a week, and during the summer it’s 5-7 days a week. My time on the ice can change but is usually 5-9 hours a week. I do my best to maintain straight A’s throughout the long school year and hockey season. My parents have taught me that school is most important which is why I am as succesful as I am in the classroom.
My type of gameplay can be described as a two-way player. I’m willing to block shots and take hits to make plays. I have good speed with and without the puck, my puck handling is good, and I am very hard to knock off the puck when in crowded places like the corners beneath the goal line. I am great at scoring but I am definitely a better playmaker.
Throughout these next several years I plan to keep excelling in the classroom and on the ice. I plan to stay humble and appreciate all the things that are given to me by my parents, coaches, and teammates.
