Personal Statement

I might be what your looking for, if your looking for a well rounded student athlete who wants to compete at the highest level of athletics and academics.  If your program offers an atmosphere of personal growth, on and off the ice, I would like to talk to you.

In each aspect of my life I'm striving to learn where the limits are, and importantly if I can exceed those limits, so I know what's possible.  Academically I chose to attend one of the best high schools in Pittsburgh because I knew it would be challenging.  With a 3.68 GPA in honors classes taught by great teachers, I'm learning what's possible.  Athletically I have competed at high levels in baseball and hockey, worked with many coaches with different styles, and been fortunate to have been around teammates of all kinds, because I not only wanted to play but wanted to know what's possible.  Through these experiences I've learned the value of surrounding myself with good and liked minded people who are willing to test each other's limits, to find out what's possible.
