Maxwell Strukov '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Max. I have two passions: hockey and computer science. I started playing hockey when I was 5 and ever since the love for the game is what pushed me to improve and persevere. Whether it's off-ice stick handling, gym, solo ice sessions, or team practices, I always strive for improvement by pushing myself to be better with each practice. For the 2023-2024 season, I will be playing in SnoKing Select team (18U A3). I am determined to keep getting to higher levels because that is what I love and want to do.  Academically, since the time I was in middle school, I've been interested in computer science to the extent that I took every possible computer science, game development, cyber security, robotics, engineering and similar classes, including summer classes outside of my school.  I took AP computer science classes starting from my first high school year and always got A’s in those. My goal is to keep pursuing both computer science career and playing hockey at a competitive level.
