Personal Statement
My goal is to play, I love lacrosse. I am a technical defensive player that thrives on the theory and strategies of the game. The feedback I get from coaches is that I am a very coachable player; I appreciate all the feedback I can get as helps refine my skills. I play both box and field lacrosse, but my heart is on the field with a long pole in my hands.
My natural leaderships skills have been award by being the defense captain for my club team for two years and counting. On the field you will see and hear me coordinating the defensive line with loud, clear and concise communication. Speed and power are my physical strengths, application of technical theory and coordination through communication are my mental strengths. My dedication has rewarded me with 100% play time for almost every game played in the last two years.
Besides my club team (Langley Thunder) I also play with two travel team, however due to COVID-19 they are currently purely development.
After university I want to continue to be involved with lacrosse though my career ambition of working in sports medicine, specifically Kinesiology.
When not playing lacrosse, I enjoy riding motocross and I am an avid fly fisherman.
