I have been playing lacrosse since I was 5 years old. Since first picking up a stick I have always dreamed of playing this sport at the next level. I know this is a goal that takes much hard work and effort to achieve.
I am confident with the ball in my stick, a hard physical dodger, and I have a strong mental game and high lacrosse IQ. I am a team leader and always try to lead by example on my team. I think encouraging my teammates helps them and myself to all strive for greatness. I strive to be a hard worker and team leader.
In the classroom, I strive to keep those same standards. I try to maintain a high GPA and study hard for upcoming exams and finals. I was nominated and awarded with the Optimist Award at my middle school. This award is selected by the teacher and school leadership and given to one student in the entire grade who shows optimism and heart. I was also part of National Junior Honor Society and Where Everyone Belongs (W.E.B.). I have volunteered in my community at events such as Special Olympics which helps kids with disabilities enjoy and play the sports they love with some support.
I want to attend a college that challenges me to be my best on and off the field. I am open to many options but I know college sets you up for the future whether that is having a job or playing a professional sport. I look forward to the recruiting process!
