My goal is to play college lacrosse at the highest level I can. I switched from middie to attack my 8th grade year and absolutely love it. Although it's my goal to play college lacrosse, I see it as a means and not an end. Meaning education is my highest priority, and if I have the opportunity to play, then I will consider myself blessed. Although I think I have decent stick skills, what sets me apart is my fearlessness of attacking the crease and my fierce determination to be the best.
My mother and father were both Division I athletes and I've grown up hearing the stories of how much they loved their time playing football and running track. Since I can remember I've wanted to play football in college, but over the last 2 years my heart has turned to lacrosse. It's the speed of the game, the contact, the thrill of shaking my man and ripping it and scoring off corner-pipe. But to be honest, I love splitting the defense, going right down the middle and scoring while taking the shot. It's fun knowing I can take their best shot and still score.
I want to play for a team that's going to compete for a championship. There's a lot of time, effort, and energy thrown into this, so I want it to be for something. At the same time, I want to play for a coach that wants to do something more than just win games. I don't like to play for coaches who just yell for no reason. I have no problem getting chewed out when I make a mistake, but I want that same coach to pat me on the back when I make a good play.
