My name is Max Reeder I have been playing lacrosse for 13 years and for 10 of those years I have played goalie, I love the position because I can see the whole field from the net. I consider myself a real team player and I really enjoy the camaraderie of a competitive team ,I also enjoy understanding each players strengths and weaknesses and try to help play off those strengths. When I am in the net I feel fearless and ready to take a hit. A few years ago I went to a Bill Plats goalie school in Golden Colorado, I felt that I really progressed and gained years worth of experience and acquired skills that I still use to this day.
My family moved from Massachusetts to Telluride when I was 4 years old and and I'm thankful to have been able to grow up skiing, fishing and playing lacrosse.
I enjoy school and I feel as if I am a natural leader, I am liked by my peers and have never gotten into any trouble. I was diagnosed with ADHD and Dyslexia in 5th grade and feel as thought this has made me a stronger person. Currently, when not playing lacrosse after school I teach climbing after to kids in 1-6th grades.
I am a hard worker on and off the field and am very excited to continue playing lacrosse in college.
Sincerely,
Maxwell Reeder
