My top two statistics as an athlete are my lacrosse knowledge and quickness. I work hard to improve my play each day, to help my team. I can offer your team leadership by having lacrosse knowledge on the field. As a freshman player, one of my senior Varsity teammates called me Yoda because of my size and my strong knowledge of lacrosse on the field. I focus my play for the team. I am a hard worker and give it my all, until the last whistle of each game.
People have told me I will be overlooked because of my size. My size has not stopped me from attaining my goals. I led the team in points this season and we won the 4A State Championship. Recognitions include: 2013 All-Star @ Adrenaline Shootout, 2013 All-Star @ MVP Team Camp, 2013 All-Star @ Notre Dame Team Camp, Jeffco League MVP 2013, Offensive Team MVP 2013, First Team All-Conference 2013, First Team All-State 2013, All-Colorado Honorable Mention, First team All-Conference 2012, honorable mention and played in the Colorado All-State game as a sophomore, 2012 Inside Lacrosse Attack Player of the sessions at the Adrenaline Showcase, 205 West All-Star 2012, Offensive MVP, MVP in the Crab Feast tournament 2011, and Rookie of the Year as a freshman.
Even though I am still playing football, here’s my Fall/Winter schedule for 2013/14: Boomerang 77 (Oct. 13th) Harvard Gulch Park, CO, Pumpkin Shootout (Oct. 26 – Oct. 27th), Wheat Ridge, CO, DU Pioneers Fallball Classic (Nov. 1st – Nov. 5th) Denver, CO, and Winterfest (Jan. 3rd – Jan. 5th) Denver, CO.
I am looking for a college that will provide me with an excellent education in Engineering. With education as my top priority, I work just a hard in the classroom, as I do on the field. I am currently a member of the National Honor Society and the President's Education Awards Program. My GPA has placed me at the top 10% of my senior class.
I would be an exceptional choice for your lacrosse team. Click to see my last year season's stats compared to other sophomore's in Colorado. Sophomore Stats
