Ben Williams '24 Recruiting Profile

As a high school student, I have been fortunate enough to discover two passions that drive my academic and personal pursuits: marine biology and computer science.  My ultimate goal is to attend a college or university with a strong marine biology or computer science program that will provide me with the academic and research opportunities necessary to pursue a career in either marine conservation or cyber security. 

As a lacrosse goalie I bring a level of dedication, focus, and tenacity to the field that translates to my academic pursuits. My position requires me to be highly attentive and responsive, and I thrive in high-pressure situations. I am also a team player who values collaboration, communication, and mutual respect.

What sets me apart from other recruits is that my position requires a level of mental toughness and quick reflexes.  I must be able to read the game, anticipate my opponents' moves, and react quickly to protect the goal. I am  the last line of defense and I must communicate effectively with my teammates to ensure success on and off the field.

I am confident that my passion for lacrosse combined with my strong work ethic and leadership skills make me a valuable asset to your team. I look forward to contributing to my team's success and growing as an athlete and individual in the years to come.
