As an athlete, I am dedicated to my craft. I am always working on improving my skills and abilities. Playing lacrosse, football and basketball has taught me that I have to work hard for my goals and never let anyone doubt my dedication or effort. After years of playing sports I’ve received consistent feedback surrounding how coachable I am and how much potential I have as an athlete. Along with this, I’ve always been seen as a good teammate and a leader who is constantly looking to improve his team. I received the Gary Blohm Sportsmanship Award which was given to me for having the best attitude during games and practices and for displaying consistent leadership throughout the season.
Looking towards my future I want to pursue a degree in psychology and be a high level collegiate athlete. Sports have always had a huge influence in my life and I want to carry that experience with me into college. Being an athlete has taught me to be confident, live in the present, and continuously search for ways to improve my craft because someone will always have something to teach me.
I’ve been able to accomplish a 3.7 GPA with AP and Honors classes while playing three sports. I’m looking for a college experience that gives me the catalyst to becoming a better leader and athlete.
