Hi, and thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I am David Lopez, a The Walker School in Marietta, GA sophomore. I started playing soccer when I was six years old. I was inspired to play after the 2014 World Cup Colombia's loss against Brazil (Long Story). The passion and love for the game I experienced that day through my family was the spark that drove me on this journey.
On the pitch, I am an all-out player who gives 100% effort and energy regardless of the scoreboard. Although my primary position is Attacking Midfielder, my coach considers me a very versatile player and often plays me as a Striker, Right and Left Back, Winger, or Center Mid. I am a member of the Southern Soccer Academy at the NAL (MLS 2) level. I have a great understanding of the game and consider myself to be a very coachable team player.
My 4.0 GPA average at school and several honors and AP classes prove that I also perform in the classroom. I am accustomed to a rigorous schedule that will eventually help me manage college life.
