Nicholas Gondolfo '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Nick Gondolfo and I go to Scarborough High School in Maine.

I love playing sports! I am a 3 season HS athlete and I have been playing soccer since I was in Kindergarten up until last year in High School. I also have been doing indoor track over the winter with my HS team and our varsity team won the state championship last year.

This fall in my Junior year I tried out football for the very first time and it has been a new experience for me. Even though our football team did not do so well, it gave me a new perspective and appreciation of a new team sport. 

I am looking forward to go skiing this winter and continue with my HS for indoor track in addition to my lacrosse Mussels travel team. 

How did I end up picking Lacrosse as my favorite sport?
We moved to Maine about 6 years ago after my Dad retired from the US Army and that’s where I learned to play lacrosse.

I have moved schools and countries a few times over the years and therefore was able to try many different sports such as soccer, baseball, basketball, gymnastics, karate, cross country and track & field.

Since I have moved many times I think I have become more resilient when it comes to change and adapting to new situations and environments and getting along with team mates. 

When I started lacrosse, I knew it was good for me so I did whatever I could to improve my skills such as off season clinics and practices. Whenever the weather allows it, I do practice with my friends or outside by myself in the yard. I want to focus on developing my lacrosse skills over the next couple of years and hope to be able to play in college.
