Joe Novak '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Joe Novak and I live in Frederick, Maryland. I am the second youngest of six children. I am a dedicated student and competitive athlete. Who I am today has been influenced by my family, my passion, and God. I became interested in lacrosse by watching my older siblings and I love the sport because of its competition, teamwork, and, overall, how fun it is to play. Academically, my goal is to always strive for a 4.0 GPA. I am proud to be in all honors and AP classes. My best features in the classroom and on the field are that I'm intelligent, attentive, and teachable.

I'm proud to have worked hard to be the top goal scorer, made first team all conference (MIAA-C), and to have earned the best offensive player award as a sophomore on a team that made its conference finals. In addition to lacrosse, I have been a starter on our varsity soccer team as a freshman and as a sophomore was given the MVP award. Off the field I like helping people, too. At school I regularly serve as a student ambassador, hosting potential students for shadow days and being on hand for orientation and events with parents. I am proud to be a go-to person at school whenever someone needs help.
