Lacrosse is more than just a sport. Being an athlete has taught me valuable lessons that have translated into personal values that relate to my life. Work ethic, understanding that the work I put in has a direct connection to my success. Growing up I struggled with confidence as a player and believing in myself. The more reps and time I put in the more my confidence has grown. Anything I want to achieve I must be disciplined and willing to make sacrifices based on what is important to me. Playing lacrosse has also given me the ability to create meaningful relationships with my teammates and opponents that has built on my social skills.  I would not be the player I am today without the guidance of my coaches and the brotherhood of my teammates. The camaraderie has given me a strong sense of trust, loyalty and that working together as a team will help achieve common goals.

My proudest moment was being selected to compete at the 2023 Winter One Percent Showcase in Delray Beach Florida and was recognized by being chosen for the All Star team. Some of the top 100 players from across the country came to compete and it provided an opportunity to showcase my skills and strengthen my leadership abilities. More importantly it was the moment in my athletic career that affirmed I can compete at a higher level amongst my peers. Soon after I attended offseason workouts with the varsity team as a freshman where the coaches were able to observe my skill and knowledge of the game. This solidified my spot on the Bethpage Eagles for the 2024 season. Being a starter on varsity as a freshman has given me the experience to grow my skills as a player. Along with playing lacrosse from a young age I also participated in football, basketball, wrestling, baseball and soccer. I am currently focusing on lacrosse and football. As much as athletics has had a positive impact on my life, I continue to hold academics to the same standards as being an athlete.  As a student athlete I aspire to have a positive impact in my community.
