Braeden Murphy '25 Recruiting Profile

At this time it is my pleasure to introduce myself to you and your staff. My name is Braeden Murphy, I am a 6’-1, 208 pound rising 2025 attack player from Miller Place HS, located on Long Island. I just completed my first varsity season as a starter, where I helped our team to a 10-6 overall record. Statistically, I scored 23 goals and dished out 9 assists from the attack /midfield position. I was rewarded for my efforts by being selected All-Division and Scholar Athlete. Recently  was ranked as a a top 30 attack player in the 2025 class by the Long Island Lacrosse Journal. In addition to playing lacrosse, I also started at outside linebacker for the varsity football team. I am a 2 year starter, named captain, selected First Team All Division and rewarded with this years D' MVP award. As competitive and dedicated as I am on the field, I also take on my academics with the same determination and seriousness. I currently maintain a 3.6 GPA this past school year, earning Honor Roll distinction. 

 I pride myself on my mental and physical toughness. I am extremely unselfish, understand the importance of the concept of team. I am disciplined, have a tremendous work ethic and extremely coachable. I firmly understand that with responsibility comes accountability. Ideally, I am looking for a school that will challenge me academically and athletically. A school that will help me grow as an individual and a player. I am not limited to geographical region or school size. I am looking forward to the journey ahead!
